Bobolink Nest

Alice Tallman

Bobolink+2+eggs.jpg

A Bobolink nest in our sheep pasture this past summer. The nest is lined with Exmoor Pony tail hair.

The Bobolink is an endangered meadow bird. By cutting hay later and providing ample meadow habitat, we have seen an increase in the Bobolink population.

Border Collie Litter Due Mid-December, 2015

Alice Tallman

Our Border Collie, Boywood Ceit, will be having her first litter around December 16th. She has been bred to another Boywood dog, named Davy. Both parents are hip tested, good and are DNA clear for collie eye. The puppies will be registered with the CBCA. These puppies will make excellent working and companion dogs.

WhatYouWill Fleece First Place At Royal Winter Fair 2015!

Alice Tallman

Our fleeces placed first and third in the Specialty Division. This was the largest division with twelve fleeces.
First place was a grey Shetland fleece off a ram purchased from Carol Precious, who shepherds the Dailey Flock.

Third place was a Fawn Navajo-Churro fleece off a Ewe purchased from Peter Vito of New Brunswick.
